Before joining the Sit Means Sit team, Jarod spent six years as a professional dog trainer, building the experience and skills needed to help dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. His passion for training is matched by his commitment to helping owners develop stronger relationships with their dogs through clear communication, consistency, and trust.

When he’s not at the training facility, Jarod enjoys spending time with his own four dogs—Loki, Oden, Tyr, and Freya. Together, they love participating in herding games, which provide both mental and physical enrichment while allowing his dogs to tap into their natural instincts. Whether he’s working with clients or enjoying time with his own pack, Jarod’s enthusiasm for dogs is evident in everything he does.
