Clients who have completed our day camp or private training can attend our dog training group classes.
These classes are meant to continue your dog’s journey. You will be coached through new and old techniques, meet like-minded dog lovers and advance your skills. By coming to group class you will be refining and reinforcing all the new skills you’ve taught your dogs in their foundational programs.
Group classes are generally held on weekday evenings at 6:00 PM and on Saturdays. We have three different group types — Transitional and Feisty Fido (which take place at our facility) and Advanced classes, which take place at local parks when weather and daylight permits.
Please bring your dog’s place cot, SMS collar and treats to group class.
Use the schedulers below to get started. We look forward to seeing you in class!
Our Dog Group Training Classes
Signing up for our group classes is easy and convenient with these guidelines:
- Follow the class limits: Please only book three classes at a time. If you are booked for more than three upcoming classes, we will have to cancel your spots past your three soonest reservations. This is so that all our clients have the opportunity to attend class in a reasonable time frame. We thank you for your understanding.
- Prepare up to three months in advance: The online scheduler will only show classes with availability in the next 90 days.
Transitional
This class is meant for clients who just graduated from day camp or private training. This is where you’ll receive significant coaching and attention and be assessed before you move on to advanced.
Important note: This class is not meant for aggressive dogs. Check out the Feisty Fido option below.
Feisty Fido
This class is meant for clients who just graduated from day camp or private training AND have an aggressive dog. This is where you’ll receive significant coaching and attention and be assessed before you move on to advanced.
Advanced
This class is meant for clients who have passed the transitional test. It’s where you’ll get the opportunity to work on more advanced techniques and develop new skills.
Advancing Through Class
At Sit Means Sit, we take training seriously. We want to ensure you maintain the training you’ve completed with us and that you continue to do so at home.
To that end, we conduct regular assessments. These tests are held during the third week of each month. Our trainers will observe your ability to do certain techniques during the tests. Based on the results of these assessments, you may move on to more advanced classes or continue to be coached at our transitional level. Review and download our testing guidelines.
Regardless of the results, our role is to continue to coach you wherever you are in the journey.
Please check our calendar for all class times and dates and upcoming advanced testing dates.
